Life Coaching
Over almost two decades, I have had the privilege to coach amazing people through tough transitions and into lives with greater meaning and joy. I graduated from The Academy for Coaching Excellence in 2008 with certification both as a Life Coach and an
Organizational Coach. In that same year I received my first ACC Credential from the International Coaching Federation.
In my memoir, An Apparently Normal Person, I talk about how coach training with Dr. Maria Nemeth and her team dove-tailed perfectly with my therapy and enhanced my healing journey. I love synchronicities like that. Thanks, Universe.
I call myself a transformational coach because I know that, working together, we can take advantage of looming change to create a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
If you are facing a life transition—or if you want to create one—coaching can help you:
-- Live more in accordance with your values.
--Define a new path and navigate it.
ï‚· --Incorporate into your life all you have learned in therapy.
--Define your retirement as an exciting next phase of life.

My fee structure has always been on a sliding scale, based on my belief that money—or lack of it—should never deter a person who is ready for coaching from getting the support they want. For example, anyone who has lived in foster care or been engaged with the child welfare system will receive a discount.

"I didn’t anticipate the impact that coaching would have on my personal life. I have found that coaching has assisted me in better identifying my priorities in life, and the interrelationship between personal and professional priorities. In some ways, it almost feels intangible, but I find myself approaching life situations, particularly those in which I must really consider my priorities in life, in a much more intentional way."

"As a coach, Bonnie was wonderful, particularly in my 1:1 work with her. She has a wonderful, warm, supportive presence, which makes it incredibly easy to open up to her and to embrace, or at least try, the interventions. She was very open to allowing me to find out with her which tools she provided worked and which did not work as well for me. In the group, Bonnie was great at helping to keep us on task, and of helping us to move forward in an intentional way."

"She was consistent in her approach, honest in her thoughts and observations, and good at introducing various coaching tools when necessary. This was one of the most supportive environments I’ve ever experienced and definitely a turning point in my life. I wholly recommend Bonnie to anyone willing to embark on a fabulous adventure into the life they are meant to live."
